Renée Bostick, Ed.D., PCC
Executive Coaching Director
Renée Bostick, Ed.D., PCC sees the world through the eyes of an educator and coach, ensuring understanding and introducing opportunities for Bostick Global Strategies partners. Renée leverages her experience in nurturing teams, research on thriving, and noted ability to help others shine as she invests in the people at the heart of BGS client organizations.
Inspired by her admiration of children, Renée became an educator, earning a Master’s degree as a K-12 Reading Specialist and paving a path for herself to teach through her family’s frequent military moves. Later in life, she delved into the study of leadership and earned a Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California. Renée authored a thesis on “Military Spouses, Military Lifestyle, and the Concept of Thriving.” She shares the framework of her findings and her full dissertation here. Renée earned a certificate in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being from George Mason University and holds the Professional Certified Coach designation from the International Coaching Federation.
Coalescing learnings from her career in education and lived experience as a military spouse into a second act of coaching, Renée has impacted the paths of numerous leaders, students, and growth-oriented individuals. With a primary focus on leadership and executive coaching, Renée helps coachees navigate transition, identify and maximize their skills, and build capacity to apply their strengths toward their best work. She has supported start-up CEOs, academic deans, government executives, and heads of departments and organizations. (Visit Renée’s online space devoted to coaching at www.thrivving.com.)
In addition to her one-on-one work with individuals, Renée consults with teams to help them move toward greater organizational excellence. With Renée’s guidance, teams can identify a desired future state, create and refine strategy to achieve needed results, enhance relationships with colleagues and strengthen group cohesion, craft culture, and more.
Renée appreciates seeing the productive and positive outcomes of her engagements, but the result she values most is that a person or team feels good after having worked with her.
